Excellent Mix JJ.
This one is in my favorites - along with Jazz- Funk mixes 1- 6.
I've taken your mixes half way 'round the world with me. (I travel alot). and shared them with friends and colleagues.
played them at cook-outs and family/friends 'get togethers'.
they all dig your work as much as I do so you might see a few new friends popping up.
I'll keep checking in to see what your next amazing feat will be.

Hello Icehouse. Thanks for the nice comments. Really glad you're still using the site regularly (I remember you from a while back on Rahaan's site, yeah?) - and thanks for spreading the word on your travels. What do you do, which involves all the travelling? Don't answer if it's illegal!! :))
The latest smokin' session mix should be up on the site later today - it's a Chic special.
Cheers
JJ
What I do
Submitted by Icehouse on 13 January 2010 - 1:28am.
I'm a Disco/House Dj trapped in a nuclear electronics engineer's Body. lol.
I travel globally upgrading nuclear reactor's electronics and software.
I've been playing music since 79-80- right around the time house music got its title,
whenever and where ever time permits.
I also left a few comments on your posts on Sean Sound's Bring the Heat site.
I have a small collection of mixes here:
http://icehousemixes.blogspot.com
htpp://icehousemixes.podomatic.com
I have become a fan of the Six Million Steps site, enjoy the Mastercuts shows and Starpoint radio.
you guys are the cure for the 'music blahs' (as G. Clinton would say).
thanks for doing what you do.
I will definitely keep my eyes open for your Chic mix. that should be really nice.

Can you get me some of that
Submitted by jj6ms on 15 January 2010 - 11:42am.
Can you get me some of that luminous green stuff that Homer throws out of his car at the beginning of the Simpsons?! :)
Yeah I remember you from Sean Sounds' site. And I've checked out your blog before. Nice. Thanks for keeping in touch Icehouse.
The Chic thing is up now. And Diana Ross special up next.
Cheers

Hi JJ - downloaded this when first posted but just got round to listening to it - what a blinder! Even went down well with Lady Muck (quite a feat!). Takes me back to the era of the Jazz Juice comps, Dingwalls, (the original) Ray's Jazz shop etc. etc. Thanks!
